With Derrick hailing from small-town-Texas, and myself coming from northwest Florida (aka "The Redneck Riviera"), both of us can easily relate to the "Nascar-loving, deer-hunting, Coors-ball-cap-wearing crowd" . . . no matter how much we distance ourselves from them both culturally and geographically. I guess that's why we find Wednesday's post of "Redneck Wedding Cakes" over @ Cake Wrecks so very amusing. We've rounded up a few of the photos for you here. There are two more after the jump in addition to the one below, but you really do need to head over to Cake Wrecks to check out the original post and read the hilarious original commentary for each pic . . . further proof that it's not the gays we have to worry about destroying the sanctity of marriage.
