WESTBORO BAPTIST CURSES EDWARDS

We can now add John Edwards to the list of people the Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) believes to be cursed by God. Not because of the former senator's philandering, but because of his long fight to end the U.S. military's "Don't ask; Don't tell" policy. This past Saturday, WBC claimed that Edwards attacked the church for "preaching God's holy truth about fags" and they called his wife Elizabeth (who was recently diagnosed with terminal breast cancer) a "fornicator-enabler" due to her work as a lawyer, and a "blasphemer". This quote from the group is probably the most disturbing: WBC will picket your funerals, which, especially in the case of Elizabeth, if she is telling the truth about her breast cancer, might not be far off.
