I've been reading about the coming-of-age movie SHELTER for some time now, and Derrick and I finally got around to watching the DVD tonight . . . WOW!! Definitely one of the best movies I have seen in a long time . . . so relatable and honest with some great performances by leads Trevor Wright and Brad Rowe. I can certainly understand why OUT magazine called it an "instant classic." And just in case you don't go for the touchy-feely stuff, I have two words for you . . . "gay surfers"! I really can't recommend this movie enough . . . and be sure to keep your ears open for the movie's terrific soundtrack featuring music by Shane Mack.
If you want to see a great movie, make sure you add this terrific film to your Netflix or Blockbuster queue! ~Warren
